“It does not matter how slowly you go as long as you do not stop.”
-Confucius
Why, in today’s generation, are we unable to see patience in them? Well, in this fast-paced world, it’s challenging to keep patience. Nevertheless, this is the quality that is most required in today’s world. Everyone just wants to run and win the race. On the other hand, nobody seems to be willing to discuss whether or not this is actually required for them. Don’t give up; just work.
We must believe in God’s greater plan; simply give some time to God, who has the best plan for us. That doesn’t mean that we just stop doing anything and wait for God’s plans. Greater plans work for those who work hard and have patience to wait in queue. We want success instantly, but what success takes is known only to those who bear pain while achieving it. There are people who work hard their entire lives but do not get what they need.
There are people in history who get recognition after their death. One of them is Nikola Tesla, who gets very little recognition. Now, he is a rockstar of sciences. So, don’t worry about results; just keep working for the betterment of life around you. The world has surely become a better place. Those who work for others selflessly are the true heroes of this world. Maybe, after so much patience, you won’t get what you want. But, believe nothing goes in vain if you have worked for other people that will surely pay up.
Once you start loving your job, you will lose count of time. If you work forcefully, one hour feels like a whole day. Loving what you do for a living can take patience out of the equation, and you’ll find joy in the little things in life.
“Patience is not about waiting for life to improve. It is about disciplining your mind while life unfolds as it will. You cannot command events, but you can command your judgment of them. Strength lies not in speed but in steady composure amid delay, difficulty, and uncertainty.”
Marcus Aurelius.
