When people start something, the first thought that comes to their mind is whether it’s going to get success or fail.

“Today I escaped from anxiety. Or no, I discarded it, because it was within me, in my own perceptions; not outside.”
— Marcus Aurelius
When big moments come into our lives, the first feeling we experience is worry. When we are following our goals, we always worry about results, and more importantly, we fear failure. When we are hit with failure, it’s not the end. It’s just that we finished the first step of being experienced. I think every person in human history has faced failure. Sometimes it’s beneficial that failure comes early in life. Because after reaching a certain point, it gets challenging to handle failure.
You just follow your process toward your goal and leave the rest to God. If you honestly work hard for your goals, you surely get results from it. But those who focus solely on results without working toward their goals will only find disappointment. Being born on this planet and in this solar system, which holds the key to life, is a tremendous blessing. So, enjoy life, work for it, and die for it. You know that the probability of being born on this planet and having life is zero. So better not get sad for what you didn’t have in life but celebrate that you have life.
The world is like a test; you must answer every question and study hard to pass. Some people argue that what we get after doing all this is a death. Well, all human beings have to face this reality, but we cannot live life being worried about death. It’s good that we have death. Otherwise there is no meaning of life. In a company or any other place, they give you tasks and deadlines. Now imagine they don’t give you a timeline; you will remain idle. And that’s human nature. We are born to attract with negative; maybe we developed this during our evolution to face obstacles.
Marcus Aurelius taught that worry can be overcome by understanding that many of the things we fear are outside our control. He believed that peace of mind comes from focusing only on our own actions, thoughts, and character rather than on uncertain future events. According to him, people often create unnecessary anxiety by imagining problems that may never occur. By training the mind to remain calm, accept what cannot be controlled, and act with reason and discipline in the present moment, a person can free themselves from worry and move forward with clarity and strength.
