“Trust” itself is a cunning word because of that; many people got betrayed.

“Trust” is a very costly word; when you trust, you are giving away some part of yourself. In this modern era, it’s hard to trust anyone. It’s challenging to tell who is real and who is fake. They tend to behave in a way that makes an impression on you, and then they will obtain what they want from you. The world is filled with selfish people. They always come to you wanting something from you. And they act like they didn’t do anything. It’s always hard to identify whom to trust and whom not to.
In this context, the genuine people who are kind to the world have to pass this trust test. I always feel bad for them as they want something good for the world. Well, those kinds of people are low in number, but they still exist. Think about the time you got betrayed. What these people do is first win your trust and become friendly. But when you need them most, they show their true colors. Never trust anyone blindly; first, try to understand their true intentions. And you will come across this type of person in your life very often.
In this era of social media, people are trying to present a version of their lives that is not truly theirs; they show the world a prosperous and harmonious existence, but we never know what’s really happening behind the scenes. This is how social media creates unrealistic standards that youth and young children feel pressured to meet. I don’t really know where this world is heading towards. Science and technology, along with years of knowledge, should lead us to a better life where everything is good. Instead, its opposite is happening in the world: more misery, more stress, more wanting.
“Avoid the friend who speaks sweetly in front of you but harms your work behind your back; such a friend is like a pot of poison with milk at the top.”
“Know a true friend in adversity, a brave man in battle, an honest person in debt, a wife when wealth is lost, and relatives in times of trouble.”
“Do not trust a bad friend. Do not trust even a good friend too much, because if that friend becomes angry, he may reveal all your secrets.”
“Do not place trust in rivers, armed persons, clawed or horned animals, and members of a royal family.”
